Open Hours, Days and Dates

What are the days of the week, dates and hours that your facility is open? *
Do not include a phone number here - your phone number goes ABOVE in the (wait for it..) phone number field!) I assure you the software will screw up your phone number if you put it in the wrong place...
DO NOT USE ABBREVIATIONS FOR DAYS, MONTHS, DATES, TIMES or anything else!  When in doubt SPELL IT OUT! It may work on a printed notice, but...
it does NOT  work on the internet because people search on literal text not abbreviations! And many of these folks have NEVER seen a farm before, just convenience stores that are open 24 hours,  365 days...
The software will do its best to prevent you from using abbreviations, but will guess what you meant in proper English and change the text;  it can't guess every crazy way to mangle English..
For example, our software will change "th" to "Thursday" so "24th" becomes "24 Thursday". Hours should include am or pm.  You don't want someone showing up at 2 am... because you wrote 'Open 10 to 3'.
because people write "M-Th" instead of "Monday to Thursday". and the software finds it identical. Use normal date format as shown below:
GOOD: Below are EXAMPLES of GOOD ways to phrase when you are open, when crops are available, etc.:
              1. Monday to Friday from 8 am to 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 5 pm, from September 1 to October 31.
            2. Typical season is from early May through July; in season,
            Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 7 pm;
Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 5 pm.
            3. Hours vary considerably; please see our website or Facebook page for current availability and hours.
            4. Hours and availability of crops to pick varies considerably; please call
or email for current availability and hours.

Include days of the week and hours, and any seasonal opening closing dates
Please, try to use "to" rather than " - ", as in "10 am to 5 pm".  Hyphens can be misinterpreted by both people and computer programs.
"Sat" is the past tense of "sit", not the name of a day; "Sun" the source of earth's light. Ambiguity on the internet causes lost business!
ONLY enter information related to open/closing hours / dates in this box - not pricing or anything NOT related to when you are open / closed.
There is a box further down the page for other miscellaneous comments - DON'T put them here!

BAD: EXAMPLE of how NOT to do it: (way to many ambiguous abbreviations): M-F 8-7, Sat-Sun, 9-5, Sept. 1-Oct.31.

If you want to direct visitors to an hours page on your website, just
leave the field below BLANK AND then enter the URL - page address of your hours page in the FOLLOWING field. Or, as appropriate, below enter "See our Facebook page for current hours." Or "Please call for hours and availability."
If your hours are fairly consistent, you are better to enter them here; studies show people often won't click on links.  But if your hours vary, then it is better to direct them to your page.

Enter the dates/days/hours in the box below.

Open days and hours page on your website: If your farm has a web page with the current opening / closing hours and days or dates, put address of that specific page here.
This is especially useful if you put "see our website for current hours" above as it will create a link directly to your hours page.
(NOTE: again, don't repeat your farm's home page - unless that is where the hours appear; otherwise enter a link here that to a specific page with opening/closing times, days and dates):

Typical Crop Harvest Dates or Special Event Dates

Regular and specific hours and dates go in the section above, but if you would to provide typical harvest dates for each of your crops, or event dates for special and activities, do so here:
(example: "Strawberries season is typically: May 10 to June 15,  Blackberries in July. " , "Corn maze is open from mid-September through the last weekend in October." ) DO NOT USE ABBREVIATIONS FOR DAYS, MONTHS, DATES or anything else! The software will change what you wrote and prevent you to the best of its ability - but if you insist on using abbreviations or putting phone numbers in anything other than the phone number field, it may read VERY strangely after the software alters it!

Crop calendar or Events page: If the farm also has a page that lists what is currently available to pick, or provides updates, enter the address of that specific page here. (NOTE: again, don't repeat your farm's home page: enter a link here that is specific to crop updates):

Directions and Maps

Directions to the farm from a common point(s):

Note: whatever you write in this box will be preceded by "Directions: ",
so DON'T start off with the word "Directions", as it will read very poorly.
Do NOT include links to a directions page  - put that in the following field.

Add a link to a Google/ Yahoo/ Mapquest map page or directions page on your website:
If you have a page with directions or a map page on your website, just enter the url below and I will include the link to it.  If not, leave it BLANK and I'll try to find the Google map for you.
If you don't like Google maps, enter the url for another mapping directions page TO YOUR FARM - such as Mapquest, Yahoo maps, etc. (NOTE: don't repeat your farm's home page: enter a link here that is specific to directions.  )
Or - if you want to find your own Google map and enter it's address, you can do that.  /
Map page URL (start with http:// or https://):

Use map link entered above or generate a link, if none is entered   OR
Have NO link to a mapping page at all  (this suppresses our auto map generator and overrides anything you enter above)

Other Information and Miscellaneous Comments You Want to Appear in the Listing

Other information, such as crops not listed above, specials, special events, features, instructions, events, organic certifications, etc.: Here's a place to enter things NOT covered previously, or to explain "other" boxes.
