It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the Feedback form.

All the strawberry festivals in Georgia we can find are listed on this page! If you love strawberries, look for a festival near you below! And I'm always looking for more strawberry festivals! Georgia 2026 Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more. 

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Georgia Strawberry Festival - Late April (April 28 in 2018)
    Downtown Reynolds, GA. Phone: 478-847-5301. Open: see their website for this year's date and times. Directions: Map of Reynolds, GA. It is FREE to get in. This festival is Handicapped accessible. They will have a Teddy Bear Parade (which begins at 10 am), a Grand Parade, Arts and Crafts, a Car / Truck Show, Photography Show, Lawn Mower Races, a Cook-off, an Old Book Sale, and a Main Street Stage.  You can find much more specific information about what is going on with the Strawberry Festival on the "Press" Page.

Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May). They usually have PYO strawberries then, too.  Also, scroll down to see the links to recipes, freezing, canning and jam making directions at the bottom of the page.

  • Jaemor Farms - Saturday, in early May

At Jaemor Farms, we're not a typical 'U-Pick' farm, however, due to lots of customer requests, in the past year we have began to host 'U-Pick' events on the farm, select days only.     Strawberries - Saturday, May 9th, Blackberries - {More details to come}, Peaches - Saturday, August 8th {More details to come}, Pumpkins (Multiple sizes) -- Patch opens Friday, in late September at 3 pm. The pumpkin patch will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during corn maze hours.Join us on May 9th for our annual strawberry festival. We will have u-pick berries, tons of samples in the market, a strawberry cook-off, local craft vendors, farm tours & more! Corn maze September 12th - November 8, 2015. In 2014, we featured a pumpkin train, hayrides, apple cannons, duck races, farm slide, honeybee observation hive, a cotton patch, photo areas, and a brand new petting zoo called 'the barnyard'. Picking updates: Click here for picking updates. Directions: From Interstate 20, take Exit#93 off I-20 Hazelbrand Road (Highway 142). Go North on Highway 142 and travel 4.5 miles. Turn right (north) onto Highway 81. Make quick left onto Macedonia Church Road. Mitcham Farm will be 1.3 miles on the right and Colonel Cob's Corn Maze on the left. Click here for a map and directions. Strawberry Festival is on April 30th; Colonel Cob's Corn Maze is open from September 23rd through November 6th. In the fall, families and groups can enjoy a giant corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animals, rides, and more. In the spring and summer strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, onions and other fruits and vegetables are grown locally on the farm. Directions: Exit 152 from I-16, go north on Bloomingdale Road, go approximately 2 miles, farm is on the right. Hwy 80 turn onto Cherry Street, cross railroad track, farm is on the left. We will hold our annual Strawberry Festival April 14 & 15, 2012 Entertainment, craft & food vendors, children's activities, fun for the entire family.
