Our mission centers on the protection and preservation of "the lost arts"; those traditional farming, artisanal, and craft-driven practices that produce sustainable ecosystems of soils, plants, animals, and people. is an authentic 225+ year old colonial-era New England plantation (1782) that was built by Captain Thaddeus Pollard; a minuteman and soldier in the American Revolution. The farm is located in the hamlet of Still River which is found at the southern end of the town of Harvard (in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA). The farm is now being restored to reflect the character of the site's post revolutionary plantation heritage.
