Not all areas of a state have flowers farms that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

Remember to always check with the farm's own website or Facebook page before you go - or call or email them if they don't have a website or Facebook page. Conditions at the farms and crops can change literally overnight, so if you want to avoid a wasted trip out there - check with the farm directly before you go! If I cannot reach them, I DON'T GO!

    Countryside Family Farms Facebook page. Please check their before you plan to attend. Depending on the amount of pickers we may be picked out. There is no entry fee only pay for the berries picked -$5.50 per lb, 2024 price. Sunflowers, Marigolds, and wildflowers grow beautifully in rows upon rows at the farm. Pick your favorite flowers right from the patch in the spring. Strawberry Patch season begins in the winter and Flower Patch season in the spring. Our strawberries are the sweetest in the south. Grab your crew and get to pickin' or pick-up a bucket of our freshly picked strawberries from the Farm Store. The U-Pickem Strawberry Patch is open for picking during the winter.     Hamilton Farms U-Pick Facebook page. This is a 5th-generation family farm and u-pick. Imagine Florida citrus handpicked straight from the tree. Or pick your own fresh Florida strawberries or purchase freshly picked berries at the Hamilton Farm Market, . Prices vary depending on availability and season (December-March). 2025 Prices: $5/lb. Sunflowers: October-December; Zinnias and other floral varieties: November-March. Bingos and citrus varieties: A Bingo is a delicious, seedless and easy-to-peel mandarin similar to a Cutie; typically ripe October-December. Tangerines: December-January 2025 prices for both were $3/lb.

Flower Picking Tips, and Information

Farms that offer U-pick or pick-your-own flowers are becoming more common.

  • Once picked, quickly get the stems into water
  • Get them out of the hot sun after picking to increase shelf life.  Cool shade is best.
  • Re-cut stems while underwater - once you get home. Making a fresh cut, while the cut end is submerged helps the stem to take up water and avoid a vapor lock.
