Facebook Pages - Usernames, Pages Names and allowed characters

People seem to get confused frequently about what is their Facebook page URL and username.

Facebook usernames

Facebook usernames may only contain letters, numbers, and a period. Special characters, like $, #, @, % are prohibited.
Usernames must be at least 5 characters long.

Periods (".") and capitalization can't be used to differentiate usernames. For example, johnsmith55, John.Smith55 and john.smith.55 are all considered the same username.
