    Westhaven Fire Department, 446 6th Avenue, Trinidad, CA 95570. Join neighbors and friends at the Annual Westhaven Blackberry Festival at Westhaven Fire Hall on Sixth Avenue. There are sales of fresh blackberry pies, jams, and other delicious food and beverages. The proceeds will benefit the Westhaven Volunteer Fire Department. Children's activities all day; a children's area will offer free fun throughout the day on the Square sponsored by the Family Resource Center in Lenoir.

    McLoud, OK. Phone: 405-964-6566.Email: Festival@mcloudchamber.com. The festival began in the 1940's as a celebration of the end of harvest season for the local cash farm crop, blackberries. The town received national media coverage when the Blackberry Growers Association sent a crate of berries to President Harry Truman. The association disbanded in 1963 due to a poor market and farmers moved on to a more lucrative crop. While blackberry farming may no longer be the agricultural strength of McLoud, the festival celebrated each year continues to be an exciting event for the town and draws thousands of attendees from throughout the nation.

  • Sutherlin Blackberry Festival - August
    Sutherlin, Oregon. A fun blackberry festival with events like mud volleyball and a classic car cruise, there is guaranteed to be an event for anyone. Start Friday off dancing at Dakota St. Shopping Center parking lot to the new band The Valley Boys, who will be entertaining the BlackBerry Festival this year. They put on great shows that include audience interaction, stage antics and dynamic lighting. Saturday, enjoy a huge car show, BlackBerry cook-off, mud volleyball, BMX races, four wheel drive Barrel Races and lots of entertainment in the park including food and craft booths. Top the evening off with the classic car cruise and a dance in the streets of Sutherlin.The fun continues on Sunday with the motorcycle show, chili cook-off, diaper derby, and of course, the mud races.     Lynnville, TN.  Phone: (931) 527-3158. The Annual Lynnville Blackberry Festival claims to have the "World's Best Blackberry Pie." With a day of activities planned by the Lynnville Community Club and the Town of Lynnville, who are organizers of this festival. Billie May and RTM Productions are the sponsors of the festival. There will be music, dancers, moon walks, bouncy castles, a rock wall to climb, and Mencer's Pony Rides. Starts at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and lasts until 3:30 pm. .The festival begins with a pancake breakfast held at the Grange Hall, followed by a crafts fair and parade, and ends with a raffle.  Highlights of the festival include homemade pies with the much-heralded local blackberries, a parade, children's activities, a juried arts and crafts show, salmon bake, vendor's booths, demonstrations and live entertainment. The festival's main attraction is homemade blackberry pie topped with ice cream which is on sale all day. This year more than 150 pies will be baked. contact  wWld blackberries are the main reason for the festival. The chance to try our wild blackberries in a freshly baked homemade pie attracts people from miles around. The day's events also include games for the kids, a salmon bake and entertainment.
