Easter Egg Hunt- Come out to Turkeyville and bring your kids for the biggest egg hunt around. Bring your 1 up to 12 year old kids out to the Turkeyville propriety were we have over 5,000 eggs to find. Just make sure to sign up for this free event before 10:30 that morning to be able to participate in this joyful event. We serve breakfast($) from 9am to 11am; then the hunt begins at 11am. You MUST sign up to participate. Sign up is by age bracket then the number of eggs with be divided between kids, each age group will be given a number of eggs to get. We ask that each kid ONLY gets their set number of eggs. This insures everyone gets to have eggs! This is a FREE event so we also ask that all eggs are emptied and returned so we can continue this event.

4. Lawless Park Annual Spring Egg-stravaganza - Easter egg hunt

The event will take place that morning at the Vandalia park grounds, with two Easter egg hunts: one for children ages 2-4 that will take place around 11:30 am, and a second for children 5-10 around an hour later. Admission to the park that morning will cost $2 per person. In addition to the two hunts, which take place across the 4-acre park field, a number of family-friendly activities are lined up for visitors. These include a petting zoo set up by Mesko Farms, an arts and crafts table, face painting, wagon rides, a 20-foot inflatable slide and a bonfire area. Volunteers with the Friends of the Cass County Parks will also be making and selling refreshments, including hot dogs, popcorn and s’mores.
