FUMC Allen will not be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at our location this year, but we will be at the Eggcellent Family Adventure at Allen Civic Plaza. This event is free to attend and open to all ages! The unique event features the Easter version of “trick-or-treating.” Local community organizations and businesses, including FUMC Allen, host tables, and children visit each table and collect eggs filled with goodies. Parents will be able to pick up valuable information and offers from the participating organizations. There will be opportunities for children to get pictures with the Easter Bunny, create crafts, play games, jump in a bounce house, and get their faces painted! Bring your biggest basket to collect all of the freebies given away throughout this free event.

It's held in between Easter services, on Easter Sunday (rain or shine), Steeplechase Park, by the north parking lot, 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano. Children are invited to hunt for more than 20,000 treat-filled eggs. Other activities include a petting zoo with bunnies and lambs, Easter treats, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and more! The event is free, and no registration is required. It's great to be hosting our annual Egg Hunt again this year, and we look forward to a wonderful day, said Rachel Kortum, Director of Children's Ministry, St. Andrew UMC. For the younger children it's often their first Easter experience!
