The child who finds the Golden Egg, can turn it in for a special age appropriate prize. Due to Covid 19 the following changes have been made:
1. Pre-registration is required. You may register online at the church website, on the church Facebook page (Springfield Church of Christ-Christian) or you may contact the church office at 937-322-7207.
2. Younger children may be signed up to hunt with older children, however no children over the age grouping will be allowed to hunt with the younger children. Parents may be with the birth -3 year old group. It is requested that only parents of special needs children hunt with the older children in order to keep with social distancing recommendations as much as possible.
3. Facial coverings are required by all guests age 4 and above. 4. Instead of providing a meal and craft opportunities, a gift bag that includes a snack, and a take home craft will be given to each participant. (ADDED: March 29, 2021)

Directions: Young's Jersey Dairy is located on State Route 68, one mile north of Yellow Springs, Ohio, or eight miles south of Springfield, Ohio. As is our tradition, we will hard boil and dye over 7,200 eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt. This event starts promptly at 2 PM for children ages 4 and under. At 2:20 PM we do it again for ages 5 to 7. At 2:40 PM we have the final hunt for ages 8 to 10. There is no charge for this fun event. We suggest you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your age category, so you have time to find the line and get ready to go! Barnabe, our mascot, will be present, so bring your cameras and have your child’s picture taken with him for you to cherish for years to come. The Easter Egg Hunt is held rain (or snow!) or shine. After all, what else can we do with all those hardboiled and dyed eggs?

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt in Lancaster starts promptly at 11:00 am and will contain hundreds of hard boiled eggs and plenty of candy. But don't be late . . all of the loot is usually gone by 11:05. There will be areas designated for different age groups as well. We may even have an appearance from the Easter Bunny himself!!!The egg hunt is a regular community event that Masonic brother Henry Hunt has been in charge of for the past 20 years.
