Do NOT write in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. And please don't use abbreviations! They will confuse people! Spell every word out!
Any non-required fields you leave blank, WILL BE BLANK, even if you have an existing listing with the information. This listing will replace an existing corresponding listing, if you have one. You must re-enter (or copy-and-paste) to fill each field.
Important: Links may ONLY be added in the spaces where they are requested. That is due to both security concerns and our business model.

The 's Facebook page address (the URL, NOT a search phrase) (
if the farm or event has a Facebook page) -Note: Either a phone number OR an email address (OR BOTH) is required so your customers can check hours and availability before driving out to your farm.

What are the days of the week, dates and hours that your facility is open? *
DO
NOT USE ABBREVIATIONS FOR DAYS, MONTHS, DATES, TIMES or anything else! It may
work on a printed notice, but...
it does NOT
work on the internet because people search on literal text not abbreviations!
The software
will do its best to prevent you from using
abbreviations,
but it doesn't always read well. The software will change "th" to
"Thursday" so "24th" becomes "24 Thursday"
because people write "M-Th" instead of "Monday to Thursday".and the software
fnds it identical. Use normal date format as shown below:
(Examples:
POOR (way to many ambiguous
abbreviations):
M-F 8-7, Sat-Sun, 9-5, Sept.
1-Oct.31.
Below are
EXAMPLES of GOOD ways to phrase when you are open, when crops are available,
etc.:
1. Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 5 pm, September 1 to October 31.
2. Typical season is from early May through July; in season, Monday to Friday,
from 8 am to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 5 pm.
3. Hours vary considerably; please see our website or Facebook page for current
availability and hours.
4. Hours and availability of crops to pick varies considerably; please call or
email for current availability and hours.
Include days
of the week and hours, and any seasonal opening closing dates
Please, try
to use "to" rather than " - ", as in "10 am to 5 pm". Hyphens can be
misinterpreted by both people and computer programs.
"Sat" is the
past tense of "sit", not the name of a day; "Sun" the source of
earth's light. Ambiguity on the internet causes
lost business!
ONLY enter information related to open/closing hours / dates
in this box - not pricing or anything NOT related to when you are open /
closed.
There is a box further down the page for other miscellaneous comments - DON'T
put them here!
If you want
to direct visitors to an hours page on your website, just enter
"See our website for
current hours." in the field below AND then enter the address of your hours page
in the following field. Or "See our Facebook page for current hours."
If your hours are fairly consistent, you are better to enter them here; studies
show people often won't click on links. But if your hours vary, then it is
better to direct them to your page.
Enter the dates/days/hours in the box below.
Open days and hours page on your website: If your farm has a web page with the current opening / closing hours and days or dates, put address of that specific page here.
This is especially useful if you put "see our website for current hours" above as it will create a link directly to your hours page.
(NOTE: again, don't repeat your farm's home page - unless that is where the hours appear; otherwise enter a link here that to a specific page with opening/closing times, days and dates):
http://
Directions to the farm from a common point(s):
Note: whatever you write in this box will be
preceded by "Directions: ",
so DON'T start off with the
word "Directions", as it will read very poorly.
Do NOT include links to a directions
page - put that in the following field.
Add a link to a Google/ Yahoo/ Mapquest map page or directions page on your website:
Use map link entered above or generate a link, if none is entered OR
If you have a page with directions or a map page on your website, just enter the url below and I will include the link to it. If not, leave it BLANK and I'll try to find the Google map for you.
If you don't like Google maps, enter the url for another mapping directions page TO YOUR FARM - such as Mapquest, Yahoo maps, etc. (NOTE: don't repeat your farm's home page: enter a link here that is specific to directions. )
Or - if you want to find your own Google map and enter it's address, you can do that. A real address starts with http:// or https://
Map page URL (start with http:// or https://):
Have NO link to a mapping page at all (this suppresses our auto map generator and overrides anything you enter above)
Other information, such as crops not listed above, specials, special events, features, instructions, events, organic certifications, etc.: Here's a place to enter things NOT covered previously, or to explain "other" boxes. These comments will be published in ALL listings for your farm or market.
